Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code has been considered a much-needed reform for the quick disposal of Indian banks’ NPA conundrum. The law has always been under the scrutiny of experts. It has been 4 years since pan-India implementation, it is time to ripe and explore the impact of IBC on banks while analyzing the success of the Act.
In today’s era, with expansion of financial banking opportunities to both urban and rural areas by Co-operative Banks, there has been a positive development of the economy. Co-operative Banks along with the aid and guidance of SARFAESI Act, 2002 has paved a great way for the rapid growth and development of the Indian economy. Thus this paper aims to throw light on the role and importance of Co-operative Banks and SARFAESI Act, 2002 in the Indian economy.
